Product Description

Piet Mondrian (1872-1944) was a Dutch artist who integrated himself into the modern art scene of Paris during the 1920s. He was heavily influenced by the Cubist movement, and artists like Theo van Doesburg, Georges Braque, and Pablo Picasso, eventually developing his own signature style of simple backgrounds beneath grids of primary colors, which he termed "Neoplasticism".
