Hand Grenade Oil Lamp Set // Natural
Product Description
These hand grenade oil lamps are made from actual US Army surplus grenades and left natural so you can appreciate its military design. The natural finish design is coated with linseed oil, a nontoxic oil used to prevent the iron from rusting. This means there will be an initial residue from the hand-rubbed oil, which will subside with normal use. This set of three transforms spare grenades into a sculptural centerpiece, which the artist recommends lighting at once for a complete look.

About the Designer
Born in 1978 and an Alumni of the Rhode Island School of Design, Piet Houtenbos has been an independent Product Designer for over a decade. He has designed objects for private clients over the years in high end markets for mass production, worked in design education, dabbled in packaging and graphic work and maintains his own curated line of products and furniture hand crafted in the USA for his own company Singular Products.
