This incredible vehicle is a 1987 Buick Grand National driven by Vin Diesel in the 2009 film Fast & Furious, the fourth installment in the iconic action serious. One of 8 built for the film, this particular vehicle was built specifically for the opening desert hijacking scene when the vehicle is driven backwards and hops off of the ground when impacted by a semi truck— an action made possible with the addition of a full roll cage, fuel cell, and hydraulic mounts in the back seat area for lifting rams. The Grand National has the desirable Buick turbocharged V6 engine which produces 245 horsepower capable of going 0-60 times in less than 5 seconds.
