Imperial Hotel Earrings
Product Description
Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and demolished in 1968, the Imperial Hotel was an architectural icon in the city of Tokyo. It survived numerous earthquakes, including the great Kanto earthquake of 1923 that devastated the entire city. The entire lobby structure was reconstructed at Meiji-mura, an open air architectural museum, where it still stands today. One of the numerous carved oya column capitals from the hotel was the inspiration for the design of these gorgeous brass and sterling silver earrings.

Her love of jewelry started during her graduate studies in Industrial Design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. She now has a jewelry studio in the basement of her home in Montclair, NJ where she lives with her husband Gene McGarry, and their two year old daughter.
