L’acrobate (The Acrobat)
Product Description
L'acrobate captures a brief period of transition in Picasso's work. It is a rare piece that focuses neither on the exaggeration of the female form or the bold movement of colors. Instead, this piece sheds light on the emergence of Picasso's biomorphist style of painting. It's a striking piece that's sure to draw attention.

About the Designer
One of the most-recognized figures in art, Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, poet, and playwright. His early success through his Blue Period (1901-1904) and Rose Period (1904-1906) led to the founding of the Cubist movement— one that declared artwork need not represent reality to have artistic value. With an incredible 20,000 works credited to him throughout his career, Picasso fundamentally transformed the landscape of modern art and remains one the influential and celebrated artists of the 20th century.
