Product Description

The mechanics, variety and sheer size of Rhinoceros Beetles makes them a fascinating subject of interest in entomology and in design. Their elaborate exoskeletons are able to carry over 850 times their own weight. Nocturnal creatures, Rhino beetles generally feed on fermenting fruit and sap and use their variety of horns to fend off competing males.

Pheromone by Christopher Marley sells real, three dimensional natural artifacts exclusively. Specimens may vary slightly from those shown, but the photographs are representative of the pieces available for purchase. All colors are completely natural and un-retouched.
