FAQ

Does it have anti theft or lock?

You should purchase a lock device to secure your scooter from theft - same as you would with a bicycle chain and lock, etc.

Can the basket from the back of the scooter be removed?

Yes, of course, You can remove the basket if you do not wish to use it.

What is the charging time?

Generally speaking, the charge time is 2-4 hours.

Do you need a driver's license for this?

We suggest you check with your state DMV to determine the regulation - this is a mobility scooter and it is not necessarily designed to be driven like a car or motorcycle on a street or highway.

Are the tires hard plastic or inflatable?

The tires are inflatable rubber tires.

Can you remove the seat if you want to?

Yes, of course - this scooter has a removable seat.

Are these tires suitable for all terrain?

No, not necessarily - we have had customers take it on a golf course, dirt path, walk path, sidewalk and drive way lane, and even have a customer in Colorado who uses it to herd her ponies in a fenced pasture, but we do not recommend it that kind of thing, or for gravel, dirt and off road - this is short commuter mobility scooter and not designed for that rugged use that we think you are suggesting.

How do you recharge it? Is it a replaceable battery or one battery that you have a cord to charge it?

It has a cord and charger. The battery can be removed but only if the entire battery is "dead" and needs to be replaced - the batter case is located under the floor board.
