Although the Hatchiroku wasn’t a huge success or an icon in 1983, back when it was launched, over time it earned a reputation of an affordable, fun and desirable sports car. It was designed to be the last of the breed and the last in the Corolla line up to be rear wheel drive.
Eighties were just the time when drifting gained its popularity and Toyota arrived on the scene with just the right car. And if it wasn’t for its balanced and predictable rear wheel drive chassis, the AE86 would have never became the icon it’s today.

About the Designer
Martin Miskolci is the guy behind all of Petrolified, from early design to end result. His love of cars has translated to a rare and wonderful thing: realizing a passion project. His work started in fall 2013, on what was to be a simple project bringing automotive inspired art to the masses. His very first poster was the infamous "Wall of Wheels" print, that brought him out to the public, but it was the RWB collection that got him the desired attention of you, the car enthusiast out there.
