Product Description

Disappointed by the quality of Enzo Ferrari’s creations, tractor builder Feruccio Lamborghini set out on a quest of developing a fast car to prove he knows better. Lamborghini came up with the 350GT in 1964, and even though its qualities proved to be able to compete with any Ferrari on the market back in the days, the real deal was just about to come — the Miura.

The chassis showcased at the 1965 Turin Auto Show was enough to get the crowds excited. Unseen in a production car, it was the mid-engined layout that made the car stand out. Although slightly underdeveloped and unpredictable in the final version, the Miura was still a blast to drive and with top speed reaching 170mph, it easily earned reputation of the fastest car in the world.
