The North American X-15 was a rocket powered aircraft developed in the 1950s to explore the edge of space. In 1967 it set an all-time speed record of 4,520 MPH, a record that still stands today. The X-15 is cast from hand polished aluminum with a brass nose tip, and the black cast iron base cradles your phone at the ready.
