The Beach LT Kayak uses the principles of origami to unfold from a compact, travel-ready box, into a high-performance kayak. Unfolding only takes a few minutes— no pumps, tools, or roof racks required. With a large cockpit and stable 28” beam, it’s perfect for day trips, picnics, fishing, and casual fun with friends and family (or even dogs!) and it’s as easy on the eyes as it is on the water.
In the water it’s sturdy, durable, agile and fast- it paddles like a molded hardshell kayak at just half the weight. Made from a custom polypropylene and finished with a 10 year UV treatment, the Beach LT Kayak has a 20,000 fold cycle rating. The lightweight materials make handling easy and responsive, while the durable hull ensures its able to withstand sliding over rocks or bumping into obstacles under the water.

The Beach LT is a single person kayak. It does have an open cockpit so you can also bring a child or pet with you. The Haven kayak is Oru Kayak's tandem, meant for two people.
