Regata powerboat racing is a more modern version of regata yacht racing. The Regata Retrograde Chronograph collection is designed specifically for the sportsman who enjoys a passionate extreme lifestyle and expects the same nature of design from his timepiece. This line was inspired by Miami, Florida, where powerboats replace classic sailboats and the sport is taken to another level. It has timekeeping and stopwatch functions, a 1/20 of a second retrograde counter at 6 o’clock, and two sub dials at 3 and 9 o’clock. The retrograde feature allows the wearer to chronograph speed much quicker to 1/20 of a second; an essential need in powerboat racing. With moveable lugs, this timepiece molds to any wrist for a perfect fit, every time. Sleek yet sporty, this watch keeps up with a fast-paced life.

About the Designer
Orefici was an idea born in Milan, Italy in 1933 out of the creative mind of Umberto Cipolla’s grandfather Luigi Farioli when he became an orefice, which means goldsmith in Italian. Umberto Cipolla, the CEO and leader of the design process for each timepiece, has always been highly inspired by the craftsmanship and intricate pieces of jewelry his grandfather made, as well the art and complexity of these watches.
