Determined to close the gap between the beauty of nature and that of design, Orange22 finds its inspiration in the everyday lines and shapes of the outdoors. The Lines furniture set, designed by Massimo and Lella Vignelli, manifests classic design with an energetic splash of color.
Funded entirely through revenues from Dario Antonioni's design practice at Orange22, Botanist has become a movement in its own right. Launched in May 2008, Botanist has gone on to win four industry awards along with expanding its offering from furniture into home accessories with over 80 products by 18 designers. As nature transforms throughout the year, so, too, does the Botanist series, piece by piece.

Italian-born, New York-based designers Massimo and Leila Vignelli are pillars of the graphic and industrial design community. They actually designed the graphics for the NYC Subway map.
