Olevian Numismatic Rarities
1773 Colony of Pennsylvania 10 Shillings Banknote
Product Description
Cash in the early American colonies included small paper banknotes denominated in pounds, shillings, and pence. The relative market value of these banknotes varied from colony to colony and all were worth less than a British note of the same denomination. Colonial Currency represents one of the oldest forms of North American paper money as we know it. Offered here is an exceptional and original example of a 10 Shillings banknote issued by the Colony of Pennsylvania in 1773. You will receive the unique specimen shown in the photos accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
