The coin had an original mintage of only 296,741 pieces however 200,000 were recalled due to poor production quality. This is one of the surviving specimens and is the finest known certified by PCGS in perfect MS70 condition. This coin is accompanied by its companion aluminum coin in MS67 condition. The coin bears the dates 1291 and 1991 celebrating 700 years of Swiss Confederation.
