1930's $1 & $5 New York Sing Sing Prison Notes // PMG Certified MS67 EPQ
Product Description
Offered here is a pair of scarce notes issued by the notorious Sing Sing correctional facility in Ossining, New York during the 1930s. This "prison script" was payable to inmates for wages earned as part of early prison work programs and could be used for goods purchased from facility stores. Very few of these notes are known to exist, especially in this exceptional state of preservation. Each of these Great Depression-era notes is in immaculate condition—certified by PMG to be in Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 (out of 70) Condition with the exceptional paper quality designation (EPQ).
