From 1892 through 1954, the U.S. Mint produced special commemorative coins for 53 different events, occasions, and individuals. This resulted in the production of over 180 silver and gold commemorative coins during that time period. Offered here is the only classic commemorative quarter dollar issued. This commemorative was issued for the 1893 world's Columbian Exposition.
