Olevian Numismatic Rarities
Pennsylvania Colonial Currency Collection // Revolutionary War Era // 6 Different Denominations // Deluxe Collector's Pouch
Product Description
Cash in the early American colonies included small paper banknotes denominated in pounds, shillings, and pence. The relative market value of these banknotes varied from colony to colony and all were worth less than a British note of the same denomination. Colonial Currency represents one of the oldest forms of North American paper money as we know it.
Offered here are 6 different exceptional and original banknotes issued by the Colony of Pennsylvania from the American Revolutionary War era. This set features some of the less common denominations, including 3 pence, 18 pence, 2 shillings, 15 shillings, 20 shillings, and 30 shillings. All notes are hand-signed by at least 1 signer from colonial Pennsylvania. You will receive the unique specimens shown in the photos accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
