Product Description

The Pilgrim Tercentenary half dollar was a commemorative fifty-cent coin struck by the U.S. Mint in limited quantities in 1920 and 1921 to mark the 300th anniversary of the arrival of the Pilgrims in North America. Critically regarded as a masterpiece of classical design, the obverse of this stunning coin features Plymouth Colony Governor William Bradford wearing a hat and carrying a bible in his arm, with a facial expression of deep contemplation. The reverse depicts the Mayflower ship under full sail. You will receive the unique piece shown in the photos housed in a deluxe collector’s pouch with a certificate of authenticity
