Offered here is an attractive example of an early 20th century American military appointment signed by President William H. Taft and Secretary of War Robert Shaw Oliver, dated September 19th, 1912. In this document, President Taft appoints John H. Neff to the position of Captain of the Philippine Scouts. This document is in excellent condition and guaranteed to be original and authentic. This is a great opportunity to own a 108-year old museum-quality document signed by our nation’s 27th president.
