Pre-1965 90% silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk silver or scrap silver, are a great way to start your silver investment. These silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper-nickel clad coins in 1965 along with the rising demand for silver. These silver coins are still saved to this day as an alternate “rainy day fund.” This set contains 10 walking Liberty silver half dollars, 10 mercury silver dimes, 12 Washington quarters, and 1 Peace silver dollar ($10 face value) in circulated condition matching the quality of the ones shown.
