All hands on deck! This handsome model is a miniature reproduction of the cannons used aboard sailing warships from 1550 to 1850. A striking, sturdy carriage is complemented by fine details in brass and imitation cast-iron. Moving wheels reflect the function of the original, as they allowed the cannon to be repositioned as needed and to absorb the force of the recoil when fired. The cannon and chain rings on this model are also adjustable.
