Product Description

Unlike traditional whiskey that's finished in oak barrels, Oak & Eden patented their own in-bottle finishing™ system. They take a spiral-cut piece of wood, known as a spire, and add it to each bottle. This gives each spirit a distinct flavor and character unlike any single barrel whiskey.

The Spirit
Oak & Eden's Bourbon and Spire is a remarkably smooth combination of corn, rye, and barley. Once distilled, they then age the bourbon in new American Oak barrels to produce a rich, deep yet sweet spirit.

Wood
Once the bourbon is bottled, Oak & Eden's patented in-bottle finishing™ technique begins. Unlike traditional finished whiskey, Oak & Eden doesn't rest their whiskey in a secondary barrel. Instead, they finish it "in-bottle." The spire is made from American Oak, which contains hundreds of natural botanicals ranging from butterscotch to vanilla and toasted marshmallows.

Fire
To toast the spires, fire and heat are used to extract botanicals and flavor expressions that are imparted to the bourbon and finishing spirit. For the Bourbon and Spire, the spire is exposed to a medium toast to help naturally extract the vanilla and coconut essence from the wood.
