Novague's Edge Chair was inspired by traditional Japanese origami. Chief designer, Petr Novague, noticed that origami was not only beautiful but remarkably strong and searched for the ideal material to replicate its juxtaposition. The Edge chair was born from aluminum and high gloss and works for indoor and outdoor spaces. This piece won the Reddot Design Award in 2012.
