U-Link Earrings II — 3D Printed Black
Product Description
Initially drawn using advanced design software, these U-Link Earrings were fabricated by a 3D printer through selective laser sintering in nylon - the first jewelry-driven use of 3D printing we've ever heard of.
Through the use of modern machines and industrial processes, as well as traditional craft techniques, Melissa creates pieces that play with the way people see things. "I want to surprise and delight people with the unexpected movement, function and materials in my work and open their eyes to new possibilities."
The handmade metal accents contrast with the nylon material to complete a sophisticated and high-tech look. All fixtures are made from none other than pure sterling silver.
