Gréement Courant Dagger
Product Description
Designed by Alexandre Lecointre, produced in Thiers in France, the blade of the Gréement Courant Knife is made of a new generation Swedish steel that's extremely efficient, with an incredibly fine grain. The triple-edged shape will facilitate cutting on hard substrate and the work of the grinder increases its efficiency, with a grind using the entire width of the blade.
The weaving on the knife is clearly modern, and reflects the rigging on boats equipped by Greement Courant, respecting the company’s colour coding. It is composed of a one-on-one weaving in SK78 Dyneema fibre, polyester coiling with 32 spindles and a Dyneema Turk’s head knot to block the guard. A loop is added to ease the extraction of the knife from its sheath made in Cuben Fiber - a sail material known for its non-cutting properties – which will allow it to be easily hooked anywhere, while working up a mast in precarious conditions, or sawing through something s little bit simpler.
