The Ixion from Namisu is a writing instrument with a distinctively modern, minimalist feel that also subtly pays homage to the fountain pens of the past. The high-end pens of yesteryear often employed a faceted design to draw attention to their superior craftsmanship, and Namisu has brought the faceted pen into the 21st century by producing the Ixion entirely from precision-machined aircraft-grade aluminium. It features the company’s signature clipless design that gives the pen a unique stripped-back aesthetic and timeless style.

To ensure buttery-smooth writing, the Ixion is equipped with a large iridium-tipped #6 nib with is produced by the renowned German craftsmen at Peter Bock in Germany, that is then adjusted in-house for superior results. If you are new to fountain pens, the Fine Nib is a good place to start.

FAQ
What about the refills?

You can use any international standard ink cartridges e.g. Diamine,
Waterman, J. Herbin, Monteverde. The pen comes with an international
standard converter too (a refillable cartridge with a piston mechanism) so
that you can use ink bottles which are cheaper in the long run + greater
range of colours.
