Product Description
Ming Dynasty pottery figure dating from 1368-1644 AD. This court female Attendant is standing over a high hexagonal plinth and wears fine robes in various blue tones. The unglazed areas have pigmented colors in red, black and white. Finely painted facial details. The head is detachable, as often seen on the larger figures from this period. The figure holds a dark blue urn at chest level.
In excellent condition with finely preserved glaze and pigment, this piece is guaranteed authentic and comes with a TL Test No. 25B011116 from Laboratory Kotalla in Germany, the oldest private laboratory specialized in Scientific Authenticity of Thermoluminescence Analysis in the world.
