Product Description
One side of this Tetradrachm coin features the likeness of Antiochus VII Euergetes (the Benefactor), nicknamed Sidetes (from Side) who reigned 138-129 BCE. The obverse portrays his diademed head right. Note the absence of wear on the high points. It also features Seleucid King Demetrius I Soter (the Saviour), and the Diademed head of Demetrius, seated left on a throne with winged tritoness, holding a short sceptre & cornucopia.
