Product Description
Horn mounted in gilded copper decorated with lotus petals, this Yak drinking horn has a natural curved shape and a small funnel for filling the horn at the end. The fittings are decorated with wave-and ruyi-ornaments. With large eyelets, bounded with a leather strap, the horn is used for carrying. Chhaang is a Tibetan beer brewed from barley, millet or rice grains and especially popular amongst men. It has relatively low alcohol content and is said to ease the harsh cold of the Himalayan mountains.
