Product Description

This Egyptian Oushabti figure, with invocations written on the body was buried next to a mummy to serve him on his journey to the underworld. Ostentatious burials might even have hundreds of them. They are made of glazed turquoise, blue faience ceramic, or terra-cotta, but the colors have become clear with the centuries. They are symbols of good luck and highly collectible.
