Musha
Musha Crane Katana
Product Description
From the Musha Kotoku Series comes this intricately hand forged Crane Katana. Featuring a full tang 1045 high carbon steel blade, this resilient katana is sharp right out of the box. The detailed tsuba depicts a silhouette of a crane spreading its wings with matching orchid themed Kashira and Fuchi.
A unique feature of this sword is the integrated Bo-Hi on the blade. Bo-Hi is commonly known as blood grooves, but that is a misconception. The purpose of the Bo-Hi is to help reduce the weight of the katana, which enables the user to wield the katana more smoothly, and puts less stress on the hands— perfect for advance cutting techniques that require the katana to change direction rapidly.
All Musha swords are able to be fully disassembled. The Maru Gata style Tusba, Fuchi, and Kashira can all be swapped out for a different set to create the unique look you're looking for. The real wood handle is wrapped with traditional cotton.
