From the Musha Collection comes this intricately hand forged "Bamboo” Katana. A full tang 1045 high carbon steel blade makes this a resilient katana that is razor sharp right out of the box.
The detailed Maru Gata style tsuba depicts bamboo growing around the tsuba. The wooden saya has a matching green themed engraving of a bamboo tree.

A unique feature is the integrated Bo-Hi on the blade. The purpose of the Bo-Hi is to help reduce the weight of the katana, which enables the user to wield the katana better and puts less stress on the hands.

All Musha swords can be fully disassembled. The Tsuba, Fuchi, and Kashira all can be swapped out for a different sets. The real wood handle is wrapped with traditional cotton.

Due to the ability to be disassembled, is it still secure?

Yes, it is very secure. All real functional katana were forged and built this way. This is how traditional Japanese katana was made. However if improperly put back or parts become damaged, it can cause serious injuries or death.
