From the Musha Collection comes this intricately hand forged “Tatsu-maki” (Dragon Roll) Katana. A full tang 1045 high carbon steel blade makes this a resilient katana that is razor sharp right out of the box.

The tsuba depicts a Ryu (Dragon) that is one of the four divine beasts from Japanese mythology and it is known to rule the seas. Ryu is known to summon fierce storms by its howls and transforms into a ravaging tornado called "Tatsu-maki." This dragon is frequently known to be the emblem of the hero or the emperor.

A unique feature is the integrated Bo-Hi on the blade. The purpose of the Bo-Hi is to help reduce the weight of the katana, which enables the user to wield the katana better and puts less stress on the hands.

All Musha swords can be fully disassembled. The Tsuba, Fuchi, and Kashira all can be swapped out for a different sets. The real wood handle is wrapped with traditional cotton.

This beautifully hand forged sword also includes a 1 piece sword stand to display your katana.
