From the Musashi Silver Collection Shirakawa Series comes this intricately hand crafted Watatsumi the sea god) Katana. Made using the Kobuse-kitae hand forged technique from both 1045 and 1060 high carbon steel, the result is a beautiful and resilient blade with a unique hamon pattern. The Watatsumi Katana is razor sharp and ready to cut.

The detailed Maru Gata style iron tsuba depicts the fierce sea god Watatsumi who was one of the legendary dragons of Japan. Watatsumi was known as the guardian of the Shinto religion who welcomed humans into his kingdom when they fell deep in the ocean. On the blade lies the beautiful engraving of the sea god Watatsumi which is etched in by world-renowned master swordsmiths. The wood handle is real ray skin wrapped in traditional black cotton cord while the high gloss saya makes the Watatsumi katana a great piece to your collection.

Included with this katana is a sword bag. Each sword is individually numbered on the tang with matching Certificate of Authenticity
