Musashi Mori Katana
Product Description
Once revered as the guardians of Imperial Japan, the samurai enforce a tradition of honor, loyalty, and courage through skilled wielding of their sword. The samurai’s sword is said to contain his soul, which embodies the same deadly fluidity and strength that goes into each intricately crafted sword. The art of Japanese sword making is a skill mastered by very few swordsmiths and passed down by each generation for over a millennia. Musashi® swords capture this timeless art form in each katana produced. FAQ
T10 steel is a High-Speed steel with a Tungsten Base. They are one of the strongest and most suitable carbon steels for sword forging. Some benefits of T10 over other high carbon steels are:
1. Edge retention. T10 edge on average will hold an edge longer than other high carbon steels.
2. High carbon retention: Allows the blade to be hardened significantly more than other carbon steels which lose some carbon content during the high temperature forging process.
3. The tungsten in the steel helps reduce abrasive damage that can occur during cutting.
