From the Musashi Gold Limited Edition Collection comes this intricately hand engraved crafted Mizuchi Shirisaya. The T-10 high carbon steel blade is hand forged and polished, resulting in a beautiful and functional blade with real hamon.
The Mizuchi is a type of Japanese dragon or legendary serpent-like creature, either found in aquatic habitat or otherwise connected to water. Some commentators perceived it to have been a water deity. An image of a Mizuchi is engraved on the saya with openings allowing some glimpses to the beautiful blade resting inside
The blade of the sword has been hand forged from T10 steel, and has been clay tempered and water quenched. The result is a gorgeous Gunome style hamon on the blade. The natural wood saya (scabbard) is made of rosewood that has an hand engraved Mizuchi dragon pattern on both sides of the wooden saya.
Included with this Shirisaya is a sword bag, deluxe gift box, and a wood display stand. Each sword is individually numbered on the blade with matching Certificate of Authenticity.
