FAQ
All Musashi words are fully functional. They are all hand forged to full tang and hand sharpen to razor sharp edge. They are ready to cut right out of the box.
Where is it made? The Ryoshi Katana is hand forged by award winning smiths using traditional Japanese forging techniques in China.
How long until it gets dull and needs to be resharpening? It really depends on how often do you cut and what are you cutting with it. The 1060 high carbon steel is very well balanced steel. If you are using it for tameshigiri, as long as you properly clean and maintain the blade after each use, you should be able to get over 1000 cuts before you would consider sharpening it. But as always, it depends on individual usage and the way it is used.
Is this katana folded?Yes, the Ryoshi katana is hand-forged and folded as well as clay tempered water treated.
