Meant to accompany the Jouir Coffee Table in this sale, the Jouir Side Table is strong enough to be used as a seat in a pinch and the gold welding seam on the table makes it look like a piece of treasure every loft, home or office must absolutely have. Although the table may look like a simple shape, it is one of the most difficult of designs to achieve with the sharp corner radius. The flat gold welding is a vintage technique which very few veteran welders are skilled for. The flat black steel has color spectrums ranging from gray and black to midnight blue, making the shape and style of this piece possible. Plus, the industrial specifications of this table will make it last forever, meant to be passed on from generation to generation.

About the Designer
New Delhi born Canadian designer Sumer Singh Matharu comes from a long line of artisans and craftsmen. His ancestors worked with ivory, metal, wood, and Chinese ink. The name Matharu (pronounced MT-HARU) means "sword hilt maker," hinting at the expert skill of the first of his name.
In addition to his engineering background, Sumer is also an industrial, textile, and jewelry designer. He finds inspiration from his ancestry, geometry, and nature.
