Another iconic design by MTHARU, the NFNT (pronounced "infinity") shelf is an industrial strength shelf made entirely from one sheet of natural black steel. The mounting bracket for the shelf is welded using our exclusive flat gold seam. This adds mystery to the outline along the back edge of the shelf and is rather intriguing to the viewer. The construction of this design is truly a journey. About the Designer
Canadian designer Sumer Singh graduated as a Mechanical Engineer and also studied within the realms of Architecture. While gaining industry experience and his Professional Engineer designation, he spent his free time in the creative pursuit of material and form exploration. In 2013, he decided to go back to his family roots in art and design and foundedMTHARU, which comes from his family name meaning sword hilt maker. His ancestors were blacksmiths, goldsmiths, weapon makers, ivory workers, artists, authors, poets and so on.
