For the creation of the Bugatti Pur Sang Duotone writing instruments, Montegrappa studied the details and surfaces of the Bugatti Veyron. The cars are often supplied in two-tone schemes, reflected in the series’ name Duotone. Starting on the cap and through the entire pen, the metal surfaces are engraved with a pattern called dynamic quilting to match the upholstery in a Bugatti Veyron.
