The Butterfly Pocket Square was inspired by 19th century drawings of flora and fauna, with mechanical gear worked into the wings and bodies of these butterflies, representing the wild and wonderful drawings of explorers in a time when photography and videography was not an option; the scientist became artist, and had full control over what his findings looked like to the world back home.
