Crystallized Grid is a 100% hand-crafted original featuring a vast array of Nicholas Yust's masterful specialty: artist grinding on metal, and now crafted in pure, natural copper. He uses a variety of tools, grits, textures and angles to actually grind the patterns into the surface of the copper panels. While most of his work features a single grind pattern spanning the surface from panel to panel, Crystallized Grid breaks the mold (in both shape, size, layout and detail) by boasting a unique grind pattern on each panel, with a clever orientation that offers both variety and balance.
Truly a breathtaking display, Crystallized Grid is one of Nicholas Yust's most appreciated contemporary wall sculptures. The large size makes it a spectacular display and focal point on just about any wall, in contemporary or glamorous style homes and offices.

About the Designer
Nicholas Yust first explored his passion for art after completing high school, enrolling in fine art and art history at the University of Cincinnati School of Design. After developing his first few wall sculptures from aluminum panels, he began to design free standing sculptures and developed over a dozen unique grind patterns which have become signature characteristics of his work. To add color to his pieces, he experimented with transparent coating to allow his unique grind patterns to be seen through a spectrum of colors. This evolved into the invention of an atomized acrylic painting process for metal, and he remains the only metal artist in the industry with this capability.
Nicholas Yust has had much success selling his artwork in local, national and international galleries. He has also displayed and sold his work at several art shows and expos, Starbucks, a multitude of online virtual galleries as well as his own personal gallery.
