How do you measure the screen?

The screen size is measured diagonally.

If I purchase 2 trios, will my purchase come with the 2 clips to attached both screen into my laptop ?

Yes, each comes with 1 clip, so you will have a set when you buy 2.

Does it work on regular screen/computer desktop combos?

Yes, as long as it has USB 3.0 ports.

Do I need an app or install a program to use them?

No, you just need a USB C port. Driver installation may be required.

Is there any support so it does not tip over?

Yes, the base of the Trios must be against the table top. That keeps it
from tipping.

Can this also be used as an extension for a smartphone?

It only works with Android phones that support USB C DP outputs.
It can either transform your phone into a chrome OS or mirror the phone display. It cannot be used to extend.

Are these touch screens?

No, these are not touch screens.

Are the magnets permanently attached to the laptop or are the magnets detachable so you can use the screen(s) for other laptops?

The metal adhesives are on the laptop, but they can be removed. We provide 3 sets of adhesives for 3 laptops.

Do Trio Max monitors hold memory or data?

No, they are simply monitors, just like conventional desktop monitors.

Could I add a fourth monitor to the mix and extend my display to a fourth screen?

Yes, you should be able to connect another HDMI display.

How thick is each screen?

It is 0.5" thick.

What is USB C DP? How is it different than USB C?

DP is a type of signal supported by most USB ports. Almost all USB C ports will have a DP signal.

Can this product be used with a desktop monitor?

Yes, it can be used with a desktop monitor.

Will this work with a normal USB 2.0 port?

No, it has to be USB 3.0.

Can this monitor be connected by HDMI?

No, it does not work with HDMI. It must be connected via USB ports.

Am I able to use and connect it to my smart tv?

No, it will only work with computers.

Does this work on a curved monitor for desktops?

Yes, it works on a curved monitor for desktops.

Why is it called a Trio when it only adds 1 screen?
