About the Designer

East London based, Mimime, was founded by Central St. Martin's graduate Hattie Hollins. With her love for 'all things visual', she was able to create this bespoke two tired business. Hattie describes Mimime as, "the lighting brand with a difference." Primarily embodying eclectic home-furnishing curiosities and a specialist in carbon filament lightbulbs, Hattie Hollins enjoys producing an organic feel with each piece she creates.

Hattie's Story- A few years ago I was actually looking for some interesting bulbs but couldn’t find anything. I’ve since discovered that they’re hugely popular in Britain but no one sells them here so it just made sense to launch some to the UK.
