The DLC Hunter is crafted from extremely tough, wear resistant CTS-XHP stainless steel and finished with an environmentally friendly, high performance Diamond-Like Coating (DLC). DLC coating provides a low coefficient of drag for the blade when in use.

The full tang 4" fixed blade makes this knife ideal for camping, skinning, hiking, or tactical use in the field, while the hypoallergenic G10 handle and titanium hardware ensure it won't wick fluids.

CTS-XHP stainless steel is ultra-tough and will stay razor sharp with tons of use. It is also a Particle Metallurgy(PM) grade material, meaning it is at 100% density and free of any contaminants. Stronger, cleaner, and more reliable than traditionally forged steels, PM grade materials have gained great acclaim in modern aeronautics, and are currently used by the material science departments at organizations like NASA and DARPA.

CTS-XHP far surpasses traditional hand forged steels because it has a better distribution of the individual elements in the makeup of the material. This enables Meglio Knives to craft blades with incredibly sharp edges and extreme resistance to chipping or breaking.
