The included AutoStar III GOTO keypad computer has an over 100,000 object library and guided tour functions. This set also includes the Meade ECLIPS color CCD camera (640x480 resolution) which lets you capture images of your favorite celestial wonders and display them in real time on an external (user supplied) monitor or store them on a (user supplied) SD card so you can do CCD imaging your very first night out.

The included “Astronomer Inside” feature delivers over four hours of fun and informational audio presentations which can be heard over the built in speaker, and 30 minutes of video presentations and animations plus hundreds of still images which can be watched over an external (user supplied) TV or monitor. Imagine being given a brief and entertaining video presentation on Saturn while viewing that planet and its fabulous rings for the very first time. This telescope truly does it all.

This comprehensive kit makes accessorizing easy. It includes five Meade Plods Eyepieces in focal lengths of 6mm, 8mm, 13mm, 17mm and 32mm. All eyepieces feature a precision 1.25" barrel with a 52 Degree apparent field of view and are of a 4-element design with premium optical glass, fully multi-coated optics for great contrast and light transmission, and a soft rubber eye guard for comfort. This complete kit also includes a Meade 2x Barlow lens to double the power when used with any 1.25” eyepiece, and a full set of six color filters: Red, Orange, Green, Blue, Light Green and Yellow which are very useful for bringing out various details on the planets. There is also a Meade ND96 Moon Filter to reduce glare and increase clarity when observing the Moon. Finally, all items come in a very nice aluminum carrying case to keep it all clean and organized. This is truly an instant observing kit, and represents an incredible value over buying even a few of the items individually. LS 3.5" Color LCD Video Monitor. This full color monitor plugs directly into the built in camera on the Meade LS-6 and LS-8 LightSwitch telescopes. It even includes a mounting bracket, connector cord, and battery pack.
