The ETX125 Observer is a fully-featured GoTo telescope that includes the AudioStar® controller, the heart of this computer guided telescope. In addition to finding and tracking objects in the night sky for you, the AudioStar® controller boasts a number of features of its own, including a 30,000+ object database, built-in speaker, and over 4 hours of of audio content that educates you about objects you observe. Whether you’re observing on the go or from your backyard, the ETX125 Observer will make exploring the night sky easy, educational, and exciting.

You'll also get the Meade Series 4000 1.25” Eyepiece and Filter Set. It includes five Meade Plods Eyepieces in focal lengths of 6mm, 8mm, 13mm, 17mm and 32mm. All the eyepieces feature a precision 1.25" barrel with a 52 Degree apparent field of view and are of a 4-element design with premium optical glass, fully multi-coated optics for great contrast and light transmission, and a soft rubber eye guard for comfort.

This complete kit also includes a Meade 2x Barlow lens to double the power when used with any 1.25” eyepiece, and a full set of six color filters: Red, Orange, Green, Blue, Light Green and Yellow - which are very useful for bringing out various details on the planets. There is also a Meade ND96 Moon Filter to reduce glare and increase clarity when observing the Moon. All these items come in a sleek aluminum carrying case to keep it all clean and organized.

Finally, you'll also receive a Meade Telescope Cell Phone Holder, that will allow you to actually take pictures through the telescope right on your phone, for easy sharing. This is ideal for taking images of the Moon, planets, and other bright object like star clusters. Meade's telescope cell phone holder is compatible with many cell phone types and sizes. Its design includes several adjustments that allow for correct positioning of the phone's camera into the optical path of the telescope.
