The StarNavigator NG (Next Generation) Series takes this to the next level. Featuring an easy to operate, lightweight, and portable robotic mount with Meade’s AudioStar computer controller, this incredible AudioStar technology knows the night sky right out of the box.

Turn it on, and after a brief alignment procedure, your telescope is ready to take you on a guided tour of the night skies best objects. With Audiostar's 30,000 object database and over 4 hours of audio presentations built-in the electronics, you can learn about the objects you’re viewing in real time. It’s like having a professional astronomer with you at the telescope.

The StarNavigator NG 130 includes a carrying bag, and features a lightweight aluminum frame, advanced electronics, an internal clock, an external power connector, a vixen dovetail receiver, and a fully height adjustable aluminum tripod, allowing comfortable viewing from either a seated or standing position. Powered by 8 AA batteries (user-supplied) or external power you will see more objects in a single night than Galileo saw in his lifetime.

Can you attach them to common camera mounts? I.e. nikon, sony

Yes. For Canon ES T mount the part # is 07384.
For Nikon T mount the part # is 07378.

Can you connect it to your smart phone?

Yes, you can. You would need the Meade Smart Phone Imaging Adapter.

Does it ever require a wifi connection for the guided tour or for any other features to operate?

No, it does not.

What types of distant objects are viewable through this telescope?

Other planets, rings of Saturn, everything out there in the universe but also depends on the nights.

Can I attach a canon rebel eos T5?

Yes, you can. You would need to get 07384 Canon EOS T-mount.

Do you watch with or without prescription glasses?

You can do either way. It is really a personal preference.

Are we able to hook up to our computer laptop to see the views from the telescope?

Generating and viewing an image on a computer requires some form of digital camera or DLSR, not included with this model, and the model is not designed for such photography.
