About the Designer
Born in New Jersey, award-winning Maurice Sapiro found his passion for painting landscapes, still lifes, and dreamscapes through his fascination of “the moment when nature fuses light and air, and creates a work of art.” A multitalented artist, author, and inventor, Sapiro’s works “evoke a sense of both mystery and beauty” that cannot be denied - this especially applies to his paintings in watercolor/oil. His lifelong mission - that has endured for 60 years - is to transport others to different worlds through his works of art.
